You brought up the fairness argument. Lsu doesn't really have a Div I school to lose recruits to. Is that fair to other schools that have high competition with their instate talents?
You're comparing one thing the conference can control with one thing it can't. Some states are bigger. Should the conference address that? Tennessee and Kentucky have a lower black population from which most collegiate players come. Is that fair to their instate recruiting? Should the SEC do something about that? Just because there are natural advantages associated with some schools doesn't mean a conference should willfully ignore things within its control.

But, I'm intellectually honest. If I were you, I'd want no part of dispensing with the the Tennessee game. I don't doubt that it means a lot to some of you because you like the history of it. I appreciate that. I just wish you were intellectually honest enough to admit that Florida has been the superior program over the last two decades and will be for the greater part of the next two decades.

There's nothing wrong with admitting that it's advantageous to not have to play them every year.

Yall skirted the actual question. Is there equality in Lsu having no Div I competition to sign in state talent, as compared to other SEC schools that have several schools competing for the same quality of talent?
