The person in charge of our scheduling is an old friend and teammate of mine, and when I bring this kind of shite up, it always ends with "it's a business."

Don't think LSU isn't aware of the sacrifice it makes. It's just worth it in the end to the people who count. The ones that count the money.

I can't turn my back on my alma mater. And I love the game too much to abandon it. So, I'm going to draw the line on my loyalty to the conference.

The SEC has the power and means to make this right for all its members, and still share extraordinary profits. They had a chance to address fairness and equality issues within the conference, and chose to ignore it.

I rooted for every opposing team in the bowl games, except Vandy (I just can't root against them yet) and it felt good.

Screw this greedy conference. And I'm as right wing as they come. I just cannot support anything that is not on an equal playing field.
