I don't think they are knocking as much as they are defending the fact that he should not even be sniffing the top 5 list right now. If he has another great year then yeah we can start talking about putting him up there with the greats like Cam, Tebow, McFadden, etc., but I think it is a bit too soon for that.

When you're talking about a list like this, you almost have to be perfect.
Its not a knock, but if you want to say he's better than Newton, he would need to be perfect.
If you want to say he's better than Tebow or DMac, he needs to do it for a couple more years.
