Actually, I think a bowl ban was probably good for Meyer's heart.

Well let's see if they weren't on a bowl ban, that means they never got in trouble for violations, which means Tressel would still be the head coach, which means they probably wouldn't have gone undefeated

Which means the tattoo 5 would have never played against Arkansas which means Arkansas wins the Sugar Bowl.

Of course, it is Ohio State that is the lucky one.

Alabama sure is lucky. They might have only won by 4 touchdowns.

Actually Bama wouldn't have been playing in Miami at all, but your way's good too.

if Ohio State wanted to win in 2012.... they should have followed the rules.

Ohio State is lucky that they were on probation, and that Notre Dame eked out close wins against Purdue, Stanford, etc

Not necessarily true. They still would have had a championship game to play...which they "could" have loss. According to ESPN bama still would have gotten in over Ohio state since they had a weak strength of schedule.

False. They chose to take the ban last year instead of the year before. Had nothing to do with Tressel. So yes, you are very lucky.
