Anyone know what he did? Liked this kid when I watched his high school tape.

I have no idea what made me think about that, what ended up happening with that?

If he had the success most State fans were hoping for, he wouldn't be preparing the Mississippi State Bulldogs for a 2013 campaign.
What's kept him from success, State fans?

And Gus was like... Shut Uuup!
Who's done the most for Auburn: Pat Dye or Chizik?

Both are still currently on the Auburn payroll if I'm not mistaken.
re: Shula or Chizik: Who meant more to their University?

And, Shula's responsible for the 2009 title. He drove the 1985 team miraculously down to get in field goal range, giving Van Tiffin the chance to make a game winning kick, thusly getting Van laid for the heroic kick, thusly being responsible for Lee Tiffin's birth, thusly being responsible for the five field goals Alabama needed in 2009 to defeat Tennessee, thusly being responsible for their 2009 campaign to stay intact so the team could win it's first championship in almost 20 years.
(Starts off soft)
shula, shula, Shula Shula, SHULA- SHULA-SHULA...

You feeling inadequate in your loyalties regarding the question posed, crimsontideMD? Chizik wasn't that much better than Shula was he?

All of that is fair, tiger n Miami. We'll count Chizik's years as DC. But his HC gets a lot of credit for the years he's a DC. Or else we're giving Auburn's DC in 2010 credit for part of Chizik winning the NC.

And before any jackwagon decides to jackwagon, I'm aware of Chizik's alma mater. Answer the question like you're grown people.

Who meant more to their respective Universities: Mike Shula to Alabama as a player/coach or Gene Chizik to Auburn as a coach?

That's perhaps what I meant.
How receptive will Tebow be when Manziel reaches out to him for advice?

I think Tim will take the time to really help him. He's always been a stand-up guy who takes time for people.
Saban: 'Devil' words 'terribly disappointing'

To be fair, Davis has multi-millions of reasons to be thankful of the time he was employed by Nick Saban. Every coach feels like they have to make a Lane Kiffin type of sound byte at these dinners now.
