He asked Kendall what it would take for State to host.
Kendall said win series against USCe plus a few wins in the SECt. That's a little more than I expected.

With our RPI. We need to get to 40 wins and I think we are good. If we don't host then.

Same.. If we win 2/3 this weekend that gets us to 40 wins (assuming we win tomorrow) and 16-14 in the SEC with a solid RPI. I thought that would be good enough.
I know it isn't likely, but you think a sweep be good enough without having to win any in the SECt? I can't see how it wouldn't.

I was surprised too because last week he was saying go 3-3 in our last 6 games.
Our RPI is 10 and SOS is 6. I'm gonna be pissed if Arkansas hosts if we win 2/3 vs USC and Auburn takes 2/3 from Arkansas.

We just got screwed with our SEC schedule this year. No excuse losing 2 out of 3 to Ole Miss and/or Kentucky though.

We just played straight up shitty this past weekend.
We could have just as easily won the LSU, UK, and Arky series as we lost them. We have had some tough breaks throughout the year.

Arkansas has an RPI of 44 and missed playing Vandy and Florida this year while getting Tennessee and Georgia the worst 2 teams in the SEC.
Arkansas also has two terrible losses. Amazing how this hurts in basketball selection but not baseball.

Take the series against SCar? Auburn take two from Arky? Are you high Bundy?? This is not a situation you can count on happening whatsoever. We must win the SECt now.

I think if we take 2 out of 3 against SCar we are in no matter what we do in the SECt.

I agree, but we will win a least one or two (maybe even more because of our ranking) in the SECt for a little more cushion anyways.

Yea we should end up with the 5th seed in the SECt which gives us a favorable first game.
