We know there isn't a god because god is an alien and Jesus wasn't purple and zapping people with lasers.

I just find it less crazy that there is a comparable if not more advanced civilization somewhere in the infinite universe than there is one all powerful being who created the earth just for us to try and destroy each other and use up every resource available and hasn't tried to stop us or help us make the world better.
