If he can I say put him there... We have enough RB and personally id rather see him at receiver, but hell... With that speed, if he has any ability to stay on a reciever... Put him opposite Brassell and lock it down

Where are you getting that?

He'd have great recovery speed just wondering if he is shifty enough

Interesting idea. I could get on board with that if his coverage skills aren't bad.

At 5-10 maybe... But as long as he can lock down and keep with reciever a especially through cuts I'm happy...

H
Yeah but he's taller than two of our corners in our two deep. FTR he said "DB". I just figured his interest in playing defense was either fear of lack of PT at RB or the obvious need to weigh more than he does to be a successful SEC RB, which would hurt his track career. One of the positions that is as deep as RB is Safety, so I took "I want to play DB" as "I want to be a CB"

Too lazy to link but Yancy put an article up on it today.

Said he's looking forward to locking up the opponent's best WR & having Connor coming over the middle and cracking skulls.

How fluid are his hips? He isn't like Onterrio "Run to the sidelines" McCaleb is he where he is straight line only

Darelle Revis isn't that tall and he is a shutdown corner. Smaller guys do really well playing an additional DB in a nickel on the slot receiver as well.

long arms and good ups would more than make up for lack of height I would think
