5/7/13 - Predict UK's football record for 2013

I really love the Stoops hire and the things he is doing with his staff and recruiting. With that said, I think this year will be difficult implementing his system and all.

Miami OH -W
Louisville -L
Florida -L
at USC -L
Alabama -L
at Miss St. -L (possible W)
Alabama State -W
Missouri -W (possible L)
at Vandy -L
at Georgia -L
Tennessee -L (possible W)
Final Record 4-8. I think the swing games are Miss State, Missouri and UT. Could be anywhere from 3-9 to 6-6. What say you?

On phone now but 6-6 is my guess. Ill give better reasoning later though.

Mine is essentially the same as yours except I think we beat Vandy. Anything over and above that is a steal IMO. I also wouldn't be shocked if we went 3-9 either.
I'm looking more for improvement on the field that may not translate just yet into W/Ls. Better technique, improvement in execution of schemes, more sound tackling/coverage, etc.

Instead of wins and losses, I have put my confidence points for our games this season with a 12 meaning I am most confident in and a 1 being the least confident we win.
I see worse case 3-9 and best case 5-7 and they will prob finish 4-8 and I'm fine with it all so long as it is exciting and not complete blow out losses.

SShh... Don't tell the UL fans. They will say that it's nothing compared to them playing the beasts of their conference, FIU, Temple, Rutgers, UCF......

4-8 but showing improvement is the key this season. Making sure they don't get blown out. Once UK gets some more athletes to run the system Stoops runs I think you guys will be back to bowling on a regular basis.

I agree with this mostly, but I think there will be a couple of pretty good blowouts. The schedule is brutal, some services have it #1 most difficult in the country.
With that said, I do agree that a level of competence on both sides of the ball will give them momentum even with a long season.

I can only see USC and Bama blowing you guys out. UF's offense is terrible and you guys always play UGA close.
