Oklahoma is nowhere near the talent LSU is.

Looks like some jimmies were rustled. I will grant you that LSU has been hot under Saban and Miles but long term you have to give the Sooners their due. Nebraska is gone and TAMU will split up TX recruiting. I can easily see the Sooners dominating the B12 the way Southern Cal dominated the PAC.

This is not to say OU will be winning any MNC's down the road, just that they will have possibly the easiest path to get a shot. OU could easily be #1 in the B12 but it will be much harder for LSU to be #1 in the West, much less #1 in the entire SEC.

The team hurt the worst by A&M's success in the SEC is Oklahoma. If Texas continues to be mediocre, it will only get worse for OU. They must have a strong Texas to provide appeal.

So you're essentially saying that It's not a matter of head to head, just the path to the CG? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Regardless, letting the sooners dominate a conference is just like a really bad tease. As soon as they get in any kind of relevant championship game they get hammered or choke really bad. Oklahoma can get someone better than that.
