ESPN CFB Live just ranked them as:
1. Bama
2. A&M
3. Ducks
4. UGA
5. Clemson
Was based on best single player at the position (they didn't factor in depth).
Do you think they left anyone out or got order wrong?

Marqise Lee himself puts USC up there instead of Oregon.

Once Hill gets out of jail..LSU still won't be on that list..but it's ok! LSU will turn heads on offense this season, book it.

Who does Oregon have at RB and WR that's better than Gurley/Mitchell?

Honestly, bama should be #1. I'm also surprised they ranked UGA at 4th, considering ESPN can be hesitant to really heap praise on UGA unless it's obviously warranted. QB and RB we got, but I figured not having an elite WR would make them gloss over us. Not that I think Malcolm Mitchell is bad, I just assumed ESPN wouldn't know a ton about him.

Even though we are #1, that is not a great way of analyzing this. Depth is absolutely something you need to consider when ranking something like this.

It is not about depth, it's about a big three of sorts, so Bama being first is right. Second best nationally at QB, RB, and WR.

Not sure why Bama is above ATM, but whatever.
ATM has JFF and possibly the deepest RB corps in the SEC. That gives them the edge over Bama IMO. Bama has possibly the top RB in te SEC, but ATM is deeper.

A&M should be ahead of Alabama. Especially given how much better out offensive line will be. I know the list excludes them, but you really can't. AJ will regress this year because of it.

I think this is fair -- bordering on generous. Obviously JFF is on another plane at QB, and our RB corp is shaping up to be something for the ages. I just don't know that we have "the guy" at WR, and overall we have a bit of inexperience there.
Despite me really thinking the guy is solid (and he's in my sig photo), I don't put Mike Evans up against the elite in the SEC just yet. Yes, the guy will make a catch in the middle of a monster truck demolition derby, but his chronic hamstring issues and his seeming lack of straight line speed are concerns. This could absolutely be the year he breaks out though -- in which case I will say A&M could easily have the best skill position player(s) at QB/RB/WR in the SEC.
And while I hate giving this guy any kind of feedback on his full-retard posts, I have to laugh at the notion of a QB that can't even keep his job throughout the year as even being the basis for a good troll post...

Not saying they would make the top 5 but Texas with Ash, Davis, and Gray could be supprisingly good this coming year.

I agree with Bama being number 1 if you are just taking the best player. Comparing bama to uga: I'll say the qb's are equal with murray being a better qb but aj has championships. Gurley > yeldon but its close. Cooper > any uga receiver.
If you base it on depth, uga has hutson mason, who is a very solid back up qb. I heard bama fans stating their lack of confidence in their back up qbs. RB depth is pretty even. Bama has more quality backs, but our top two are better in my opinion. Wide receiver is pretty even from a depth perspective. I would give the edge to uga, but overall even.
