SEC's greatest DLinemen - a fairly recent phenomenon?

So I was listening to Unite last night and they were talking about how the SEC is so good recently because of the DLinement in the league and it got me to thinking ... the SEC has actually been very good along the DLine for awhile, as long as I can remember.
I'm talking really dominant players here, All-American types.
Off the top of my head:
DEs
LeRoy Cook
Eric Curry
Jevon Kearse
E.J. Junior
Jadeveon Clowney (SC born and bred)
Leonard Little (hybrid DE/LB)
Melvin Ingram (hybrid DE/LB)
Jarvis Moss
Tyson Jackson
John Abraham (SC born and bred)
David Galloway (one of my favorite players back in the day)
Trace Armstrong
David Pollack
Reggie White
Marcus Thomas
Doug Atkins (when I was a kid, this guy was legend. Never saw him play in college, but people still talked about him and I saw him play with Da Bears)
John Copeland
Carlos Dunlap (SC born and bred)
Kenny Mixon
DTs
Anthony "Booger" McFarland
Darren Mickel
Charles Alexander
Michael Brockers
Terrance Cody
Richard Seymore (SC born and bred)
John Henderson
Tracy Rocker
Brad Culpepper
Glenn Dorsey
John Hand
Albert Haynesworth (SC born and bred, can't stand him)
Nick Fairley
Marcus Spears
Shaun Ellis (SC born and bred)
Marty Lyons
Marquis Hill
Dick Tardits
Gerald Warren
Kyle Williams
Those are just the ones I remember. I know I've forgotten more than I remember but the SEC has dominated along the DLine for far more than just recently. Although, the more I think about it, the more maybe they had a point ... it's been since SEC expansion that the SEC has really produced an inordinate amount of defensive lineman as compared to the rest of the country I suppose. Or, is that not correct?

Fletcher cox wreacked havoc in backfields and was the #12 pick in the draft last year

Peria Jerry was pretty good in college. Drafted in the first round #24 overall. Hasn't really panned out in the pros though

Jarrett Lee knows good and well who Peria Jerry is

Tracy Rocker
In 1988, Rocker won both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy, the first SEC player to do so.
A two-time All-American and a three-time All-SEC selection as a player at Auburn, Rocker was named SEC Player of the Year during his senior season.

I admit to missing some, and not being able to remember all of them. I also omitted one or two, like Eric Norwood and Melvin Ingram, both All-Americans and in Ingram's case a Consensus All-American ... because I didn't want to come-off as a homer. Ingram I could list like I did Leonard Little as a hybrid DE/LB. Same for Norwood.
But the ones I listed were the ones that I remembered off the top of my head as just standing-out and being totally dominant.
I admit to not listing Nick Fairly because I did not like him - but it was hypocritical of me not to do so because I did list Albert Haynesworth and he is one of the most despised people of all-time here in SC. So yes, Fairly should have been listed.

I would think Michael Brockers would be on that list...

LOL. The fact that you dont list the most dominate Tackle during his tenure shows that your list is crap and no one will take it seriously.
Dont let your sandy vag bleed on your thread
Nobody could block Fairley.

Yeah, I saw him play in person several times both in Knoxville and Memphis with the Showboats when Pepper Rogers was there. (Hoping not to evoke a Logan Young flashback in the process).
But Reggie might be the most dominant of all time. I hated it when he died so young. Christmas of '04, he was up around Charlotte somewhere if I remember correctly. Died of sleep apnea.
Boy oh boy would he be controversial today though. Just imagine.
