All 100% predicted to go to UT on 247. If Brown, McDowell and Mouhon committed today, it would give us a score of 1,431 on Rivals, good enough for #1 in the country. Adding Smith would take it to 1,583 for a nice lead

McDowell and Mouhon don't have UGA offers and Brown said he hasn't heard from us in a while, meaning he's far down our board. Good job, though.
Edit: the highest rated of the 3 (using composite rankings) is McDowell at 18th in the state, Mouhon in 23rd, Brown is 47th.

well they have Alabama and Florida offers. they're the top 2 programs at the moment.

Alabama literally blankets the state with offers, not all of them are commitable. It doesn't mean much.

I have quite literally never heard or read a single one of those names except for Orlando Brown, and that was last year while we were trying to think of a future contingency plan in case some guys dropped off.
You're not raiding GA, you're just getting the guys Tennessee is supposed to: middle of the pack, no offers from UGA.
And like Crispy said, Bama's recruiting philosophy is to offer anyone and everyone. It helps keep up appearances with the high school coaches and puts a bevy of contingency plans in place in case the unthinkable were to happen and some of the top guys decided to not be Bama Locks.

UGA offers these kids Sophomore and Junior year. The offers might still be committable, but they're not being pursued like they might have once been. Things change in 2 years. Team priorities change, as do our targets out of state.
Just because 247 lists two coaches as recruiting him doesn't mean they are actively doing so. They're just the two coaches assigned to recruiting that region of the state or the coaches the kid has said at one time or another have called or contacted him.

although UGA offer sounds good, recent offers by Bama/Florida/Ohio State/Texas/FSU,etc sound even better.

UT fans sound like aTm fans bragging about getting a kid from Louisiana that we didnt want to begin with .... desperation is a stinky cologne Tennessee dont become that fanbase.
