What's A&M's record in BCS bowls the past 3 years?
Posted on 4/29/13 at 11:18 pm to ImperialPalace
aren't you guys 3-9 in your last 12 bowls?
:glasshouses:
but it is interesting to note Bielema has been to 3x more BCS bowls than the A&M does in its history

He also has 3 more conference titles to his credit than the fraud that leads their program.

I was just using the three year metric that you used in the OP.
In the same relevant period, Texas A&M is 2-1 in their last three bowl games.
In the past three years, how many Arkansas players have been drafted from the defensive side of the ball?

Jake Bequette was drafted. And Jerico Nelson got a FA deal and made the team. Is that really surprising to you considering we had Bobby Petrino coaching whose defensive philosophy was "Don't worry about how many points they score because we'll score more."? It's nice to finally have a coach now who has put offensive AND defensive players in the draft.

Lat's tweet in the OP seemed impressive until you paid attention to the fine print:
quote:...and a grand total of 1 defensive player drafted in the past three years. That's quite the accomplishment.
The #Razorbacks had 10 Off players Drafted
But as you said, Arky's defense will become a bigger priority moving forward.

I don't know? You tell us. Preseason top 10 team. Loaded on offense. Future first round QB running the show. Darkhorse pick to win the national title. And then an absolute train wreck season that ended with the head coach being fired. Your 2011 Texas A&M football team in a nutshell.
Some people around here can only think in one season increments it seems.

That all depends.
Some people "around here" seem more adept at living in the past than in the present.
And some people "around here" appear to be totally blind when it comes to the future.
