Maybe its a LSU thing. I cant remember seeing a single bar fight in my entire time in Tuscaloosa. Ive certainly never been in one, but people dont frick with me.

It's definitely easy to avoid them. Some bars are more prone to them than others.
I don't know what the bar scene is like other places, but in Lousiana, whatever bar makes it easy for 18-20 year olds to drink generally has an issue with bar fights.
The places that skew older, don't have as much of an issue.
So if, for instance, other schools are more Fraternity Party/House Party oriented for younger students, there is less likely to be a bar fight because by the time people are going to the bars, they've grown out of that behavior. For the most part.

Have not been in this thread but, I just left Platinum Plus Gentlemen's Club in Columbia after eating the free lunch buffet and guess what happened. I got in a bar fight. 14th of my life..

I go to LSU and when I was a freshman everyone went to this bar call Reggie's, LSU people will laugh when they even see Reggie's typed out. Its pretty trashy and a hangout for 15-19 year olds. Naturally the drinking laws are pretty lax and a bunch of drunk 18 year olds usually ends up in a fight. I have been in multiple fights at said Club Reg, some where I had no intention of being in a fight and others where I dont remember if it was my fault at all. But hanging out in the infamous "TigerLand," it is almost impossible for one to not get somewhat involved in an all male altercation
