Pollorena has been the friday/thursday night starter for a few weeks now.

He should be one of our top relievers but some of our possible starters are either not back to 100% or suffering from pussy-itis.

I heard Woodruff is having surgery?
Is this germans?

I dunno. I haven't checked out any state stuff today. He's been havin trouble I think.

I knew he was struggling. It makes sense if he has a cracked elbow, which is what I heard.

Actually there is an overwhelming opinion that Saturday and Sunday will be rained out so Cohen hopefully will pitch Graveman tonight. I know Pollo has been the Friday starter but you want your best pitcher in tonight if there is a significant chance of only being able to play one game this weekend. So Graveman or Ross Mitchell should get the start tonight

there is only a 30% chance of rain sunday. they'll figure a way to at least get 2 in.

I'm hoping for a 1-1 split with a rainout.
ETA: I forgot Vandy has an all turf field and if its like turf football fields it drains really good.

Only lightning or a ridiculous amount of rain would postpone one of the games this weekend. That and the sunday time rules.

what nights do your 1,2, and 3 pitchers start?

Ziomek (Friday) and Beede (Saturday) are interchangable IMO as 1 and 2. Pecoraro (Sunday) is 3.

That Beede guys scares me, he may be the best pitcher in America.
10-0 in 10 starts 1.50 ERA opponents battins .140 against him.
With the left handed batters we have I feel we can hit Ziomek. Who's Vandy's #3 guy?

Ziomek's a lefty. Pecoraro is coming off of Tommy John and has worked his way back into the weekend rotation.

I thought Beede was the lefty, my apologies.
Good to have a Vandy fan to talk sports with

Same. Should be a great series. Will be there tonight and tomorrow.

Ziomek is a lefty, VU has not had a home rainout this season. The biggest advantage to the turf is the ability to get in so many games and to start practice outside consistantly even in January and Feburary. VU will get all 3 games in.
