Gator fans, interesting reading UF Football wiki page

Researching Fla Football history, since I came of age in the 1980s, remember Galen Hall's teams on forward, and have always heard the same jokes most toss UF's way about the program only starting in 1990/SOS arrival.
I've always noticed UF being much like LSU, in so oft missing out on perfect seasons even during dominant natty title seasons. Both programs unlike say Bama, which is littered with so many perfect years, yet Tide too have been tagged with a L in their two most recent title seasons..12 + 2 gm schedules.
Hell, even Aub has three perfect seasons in the last twenty years..sadly two of which yielded mostly lint balls to the trophy case.
Wild that UF's last unbeaten season appears 102 years ago in 1911? Yet, UF has five 1 loss seasons in the last 17 seasons alone.
LSU as perm-foe, can't help the Gator cause.

Yes, it is harder to go undefeated when you have to play LSU, GA, FSU every single year. Then some years you get to play AL, sometimes twice.

Auburn has pulled out a bunch of close ones vs UF lately. It happens. Several of those we had no business losing.
