Heinous? Yes. A life is a life. It is not for us to judge whose life is worth of being kept. That is between God and said person. Plus, executing someone is far more costly than keeping them in prison the rest of their lives

As for the death penalty, I am for it in clear cut cases. Circumstantial cases...no.

I think that gets thrown out the window when someone commits murder. And as far as the expense, that's because all the Damn appeals. I say if there's DNA evidence, take the guy out the side door and blow his brains out.

I oppose it. Who knows what new evidence or technology can arise that could possibly prove someones innocence.
