Saw on TB he is, in fact, not going to qualify. Any truth to this rumor that anyone is aware of?

Like I said, just saw it on Tigerboard and didn't seem like there was a definitive answer though some said it was discussed on power mizzou too so I was wondering if anyone else had heard. Here's the TB link. LINK

The post on PM said there was a good chance he would not qualify, but there is still a little hope.
I would guess he doesn't, but we'll see.

i dont understand did he just crap out on his grades last semester or what? i thought he had a 2.5 GPA

I'm just laughing..
This clown spent the last year and a half tweeting his arse off about Mizzou (as well as daily 16 year old emotional girl tweets)... maybe if he would have spent a quarter of that time doing some homework he would be playing.. this is almost too good.

To be honest I don't really understand how any D1 caliber athlete can not qualify. These high schools are for the most part just trying to push them through their classes and somehow they still mess it up.

With the stricter qualifcation requirements coming up, expect a LOT more of this to happen to just about everyone.

I don't get it either Fight. I don't claim to be the smartest guy around, but I would have almost had to try to not be eligible in order not to qualify.

Well the way I view it is we are currently three deep at RB as is so he probably would not have been on the field much if at all this year. So even if he has to go the juco route he would be eligible right around the time we need him most. Im an optimist

That is very optimistic. Henson is implementing physical running changes to this offense. Abbington would have been the biggest and strongest runner on the team.
Teams like USC and LSU evaluated Abbington as a player who could play as a freshman. It is a huge loss.
