That makes absolutely no sense. Wins and losses are dependent upon the entire team, not the secondary. It's also a pointless comparison with the 10-win metric because '10 LSU and '11 Bama both had 10 wins.

I agree with the second statement, but overall team D rankings depend on the front 7 and opposing offenses as much as the compared secondaries.
