...Was talking to a buddy this weekend about possibly going hog hunting sometime this year. What's it like in Mississippi and am I correct that there's really no season? Heard rumors that the Wild Hog population in Mississippi was way too high.

Anywhere along the Yockanookany has plenty of them. I know Webster and Choctaw county have a high population, and they're moving into Attala.

No season for hogs, and although these are the official rules for hunting them, I doubt they are enforced. Anything to get rid of the damn things.

As far as I know there is not a season. There is an increasing problem with hogs around the delta in certain areas..especially around Morgan City.

I'm sure if you can contact some farmers they would gladly let you kill some hogs on their land.
