more wins, higher winning %, more bowl wins. Due to longevity...but this is the point that is being escaped.

Yes but y'all are basing this off of incomplete bodies of work. Intentionally obtuse or just trying to be contrary.

I'd say 9-3 is mediocre for the supposed GOAT college coach.

No and no, for me anyway. I told NC14 I would explain if it would do any good. So far I haven't seen anything in this thread that suggests it would.

This reminds me when I told Abrell that Miles was the best coach LSU has had, and she mentioned what Saban had done since 08. What does that have to do with what either had done AT LSU.

You're still mad about 2007, aren't you?

That was 6 years ago, so no. I'm just pointing out as an objective college football fan how fricking stupid it is to pick miles over saban in a college football draft. Saban is better, and there isn't really any way around it.

And no matter what you think, Miles got lucky as shite to win his title. Not only did he lose 2 games (to an average as grits kentucky team and an ok arkansas team, in the last regular season game), but he had to have the #1 and #2 ranked teams both lose on the last wknd of the season. And #1 WV lost to an atrocious pitt team. All of that has nothing at all to do with UGA.

I miss Abrell...but that ESPN area is just a big dumpster fire. Has it gotten any better?

I NEVER said Miles was a better coach than Saban now, but FOR LSU, I would choose Miles as the coach. Both have been at LSU, and Miles has done better AT LSU. Therefore, I would choose Miles over Saban as the coach of LSU.
Like I said on the 1st page, only one LSU coach has beaten Bama, Auburn, and UF in the same year, and Miles has done it 3 times.

Why do we assume Saban would have dominated at LSU?

I didn't say we. I said me.

Well to the OP, the ones on that list that has done more than Miles is Meyer and Spurrier. I don't trust Meyer as far as I can throw him. Spurrier is too old but I wished to gawd we hired him in 87.

I doubt it. It was alright during the season, and got HORRIBLE on the Bama-ND board. I went on the blog once since football season and it was fine, but since then I was mostly on VCU basketball boards.(LSU ones were dead)
The LSU boards were pretty dead after the Bama loss, but there were some cool Bama posters on their board. Abrell was usually one, but not always.
