Not counting success in the NFL, QB's and WR's I would say.

All-time:
LB (Lee-Roy Jordan, Cornelious Bennett, Derrick Thomas, Rolando McClain, Demeco Ryans, CJ Mosley will be on this list after next season)

Recently: tie between DB and RB

Current LSU players in NFl, by position:
DL - 9
LB - 3
DB - 10
OL - 3
RB - 5
TE - 1
WR - 5
QB - 1
P - 1


I guess DL and DB right now.

It would probably be easier for me to tell you what Alabama is not known for. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and safeties. Pretty stout everywhere else historically.
