Not a fan...especially that the NFL is on NBC on Thanksgiving night and traveling back to MISS on that day is an issue. But it is what it is.

I'm not a fan I like the Saturday game but it does call for some pretty awesome tailgating. Danksgiving

I just hope they are exciting as the one's in the past.

I just have great memories of Thursday night egg bowls. I remember being in my friend's suite in oxford and the gameday crew was next door. Give me Thursday night and the extra exposure.
This. My Thanksgivings have become pretty uneventful the last few years so I will just do it in the grove and junction.

I'm not a fan of it but it will get a huge tv audience so I completely get the move

I like it because of all the nostalgia that is tied to it for me. When I was young, I would eat lunch with my grandparents and ride up to the Egg Bowl with my uncle.
I hate the fact that we are playing UK on Thurs night as well.
So this leaves us with TWO Saturday SEC games.

On the flip side Ole Miss will be coming off a very physical game with LSU where as the Hogs don't take nearly the same toll on their opponents.

I love this I miss this game more than anything on thanksgiving. I don't for sure but I'll assume some of y'all come from a similar situation where you have a split family between OM/MSU so if you didn't make it to the game for thanksgiving, you might go over to your grandparents eat lunch then everybody gather around the TV to watch the Rebels vs the Dawgs. This was a great time because even though we were against each other at that moment we still realized why we were together that day. It really made those games special no matter if you were at home or at the game.
Honestly though if y'all have seen the Blind Side and how they described watching the game/thanksgiving in the movie that was really how it was for me most of the time, except for the few times we went down to watch it.
TL;DR = I'm all for it. Bring it on because it's more exposure for the both of us.

Not a fan. I like relaxing at my house with my family on Thanksgiving. Now I have to either leave early to go to the game or worry about it all day.

Bingo. It completely limits my turkey coma and I don't like it

Be honest, how many times have ya'll whacked it to the Blind Side?
I only say this out of butthurtness that we don't have the Tuohy's to run shite for us.

Honestly not once at all since I went to & played football at Briarcrest with Michael, so that story hit close to home and I know the stuff the didn't tell and what they made up for Hollywood. Plus the Touhy's are family friends so it wasn't that big of deal to me.
Others probably have many times ... honestly I hooked up with a chick because she loved the blind side and Leigh Ann. She flipped out that I went to school with them and that I knew the family, she was from Michigan and didn't have a clue how small a world Memphis/North MS is, so yeah I guess to answer your question I do because it got me laid once.

So you mean the part where Sandra Bullock intimidated a hardened criminal was not based on reality?!

I assume that the part where Leanne made Hugh her bitch was accurate.

I would have loved to see Leigh Ann try that shite with Hugh ... that would have been hysterical.
No the biggest part they left out was Mike showed up as a sophomore at Briarcrest and the Touhy's didn't take him in until around the end of his junior year. So who the hell supported him until then ... well Hollywood made it seem like he showed up and *pooof* here comes Leigh Ann on her white stallion. Which is the case but there were people involved before them that didn't have their story told. Also as y'all probably already know most the stuff that they said Leigh Ann did never happened at all ... it was just fluff to build up Sandra Bullock's character.
