According to this: LINK Mullen isn't going anywhere unless the program takes a significant nosedive.

Yea he hasn't really dne anything to warrant being on the hot seat. He has had winning seasons every year except his first so that a big deal for state.

Yeah...he is safe this year no matter what. But with Ole Miss getting better, he has a lot less room for error.

Tyler Russel is an idiot. This was never acceptable.

I'm not a big fan of this quote either.

Judging by the size of the ball, That's either Tyson Lee or Dylan Favre.

Is there anybody in their right mind that thought he was? I think he's in Starkville for at least 5 more years

A Miss State football coach that wins 6 or more games wont be fired unless there are some hellacious off the field problems like Stands had

State fans have most likely never been this excited about football. Ole Miss doesn't know what 23 straight home sell-outs even smells like. Mullen is safe.

He's going to have a hard time winning 6 this season. Seat will become hot.

Seat won't be hot -- and we are going to win more than 6 this year.

We don't see the full benefit of the redshirting program until 2014 though -- and that team is going to be bad arse.

We'll be better in all facets this year. Receiving and CB are the only positions that this is even questionable at.

Why?

It's the same group coming back a year older and better...I'm expecting them to be much better(like they already were last year).

You were probably pretty concerned about it in the 2008 Egg Bowl as well, right? I know I was...That didn't stop that same core group from being a badass unit in 2010 after they got older and stronger.

We've recruited pretty badly on the OL, but we've developed pretty well.

This is supposed to mean what, exactly?

Sorry that I refuse to believe the wheels are all of a sudden coming off our football program over the first true underachievements of a 4 year tenure -- prior to an offseason that saw us make alot of staff changes that are all apparent upgrades(other than Brew leaving obviously).

I have seen the changes made that I'm pretty confident will allow us to continue to move forward -- and our talent has been upgraded at every single spot that we lost players other than arguably CB.
