It’s a lot different knowing the confidence level that I have and knowing that I can go out there and play,” Frazier said after Saturday’s scrimmage, which was closed to the public and media. “The guys around me, they believe in me and that they believe every time they run a route, they believe I’m going to get the ball to them.”
By "guys around me" he must mean the defensive guys.

I thought you liked Frazier?

He would lick the cream off the top of a mocha cam coffee for Frazier.

We are absolutely fricked if he is our starting QB.

So if he's picked as a starter, you're setting yourself up as more knowledgeable about the requirements of a quarterback in this system than Gus Malzahn?
My thought is that Nick Marshall is being brought in to be the starter, but we shall see. And if Frazier is chosen, that means he did the best out of the QBs we have and gives us the best chance to win in our head coaches eyes.
Considering his track record, I trust his judgement.

+1. I trust in Gus.

I've seen the deer in headlights look in too many of our QBs to not be able to recognize it. Allude to my opinion of Gus if you must. I never said his name. It says more about our QBs we have presently on campus FWIW.

I'm guessing you haven't read the reports where Malzahn and Lashlee say there is no separation of the two. In other words
Frazier = Wallace
Frazier = Wallace

Know who else had a deer in the headlights look his first year as starter?
Ben Leard, that's who. He was so bad he had to be replaced by Gabe Effin' Gross, for god's sake.
Amazingly enough, he ended up turning into a darned good SEC quarterback. You, however, would have pulled his scholarship after 1998.

Oh, and Jason Campbell looked like the ol' deer in the headlights when he was getting his first starts too.
Good thing we gave him another chance IMO.

He's already being outperformed by Jonathan Wallace in practice and in the only scrimmage. The thing Jonathan Wallace needs to work on is the deep ball, but his short to intermediate passes have been on target. I can't wait until Nick Marshall arrives on campus and competes with Jonathan Wallace for the starting job.

did you just compare TMN to the greatness known as Jason Campbell. How dare you sir. You should self-ban for one week for that.
Where is Ross when you need him?

It will come down to JJ or Marshall IMO. I'll be excited with either of those. Wallace then Frazier bringing up the rear.

Redshirt season, IYAM.

I just don't see a redshirt season for him. No doubt all incoming freshman could use one, but we have 2 scholly qb's this spring and they are both mediocre. There has been no talk on either side about redshirting. I'm pretty sure he signed with us because of our qb situation. He wants the job just based on some of his words he thinks he's coming in and competing for the starting job.
With all that said I won't be made at all if he redshirts and Marshall starts. I'll be pissed if he redshirts and Frazier starts
And then there's this
Fake Gabe Wright "@GabeThaGreat Paging Nick Marshall!!! Get ya sticky fingers on a copy of da playbook bruh... We in trouble"

Where are you reading Wallace is outplaying Frazier? All the interviews have Lashlee and Gus underwhelmed by both. They claim there is no separation. Do you have a link showing different? I want some good news about any QB. TIA
