Not a fan. Our current ones are awesome, why change it?

They wanted to make the Georgia brand the same across all sports. I liked the numbers we had.

As someone else pointed out in the comments......old SEC patch = BS.
And frankly, even if it were legit, it doesn't really look that bad.

No. Not sure how I feel basically means I don't like them. But feel free to eat a dick.

These are defiantly legit. Mccgarity confirmed it.

Link? And if so, why did they not model them with the current SEC logo?

McGarity held a press conference

@marcweiszer: There will be a newly developed customized primary and secondary letter and number font. #UGA

@marcweiszer: #UGA introducing a department-wide "brand identity system" to promote consistent & unified look across sports. Partnered with Nike on it.
It's legit.

I liked the older ones better, but I don't really give a frick one way or another. Surely the retired numbers will stay retired though, right?
ETA - I couldn't click the link, stupid Barracuda filter, so I'm just going by the posts in this thread...

Yes. This was just a model uniform and what better number to use for UGA PR?

Not saying I didn't believe you.
Still, I don't mind. But I am curious as to why they were reppin' the old SEC logo.

It's probably just an old prototype and they only updated the numbers. That's the only thing I can come up with.

Font is called "bulldog bold". Created just for UGA according to Mccgarity.

Okay, I think the bigger change here is that new Uga head logo......are they really trying this again? Was this released yesterday, by chance?
