2012 exports in MS increased by 1.8 billion.
He has recently signed into legislation an act ensuring religious liberties in public schools, he got a budget passed for MS that sets aside 2 percent of revenues in case of unforeseen budget anomalies.
Signed into law expanding gun rights, as of now all open carry is legal in MS without permit, and with an advanced concealed carry you can CC anywhere in MS, including universities, that isn't forbidden by federal law. He also signed a law protecting the privacy of CC license holders
Signed a law the other day requiring labeling on imported fish for country of origin and type of fish to help the Mississippi Catfish industry fight impostors claiming imported Basa as catfish, with stronger enforcement and penalties.
I've never followed our state gov't as much until recently, but I have been impressed with what Bryant has done so far.

He is a politician so I have a natural distrust for him but he is doing the best job of a governor in this state in quite some time
Seems to honestly have the wishes of his voters as priority

I read that as his time as Auditor, he received 12 million dollars to taxpayer money that was found embezzled or wasted. From what I've read, he actually seems pretty genuine..he also was the person to present doing live web shows of MS. Senate proceedings so voters could hold their elected officials accountable for their actions.

I'm just kidding. Bryant is good people. I do miss the Fordice drama though. Another thing Louisiana gave us.

HIs buisnesses were mostly in Louisiana. He lived in Vicksburg so he was close to his holdings in LA and MS. His construction company did a lot of their work in LA. He did come from Memphis origionally though. He was a huge LSU fan too.
