It's funny because most people who do not live here always recommend uptown. These days it is full of a lot of people from the outer 'burbs and not always the most desirable ones. Most places are so over crowded and it's just not enjoyable. Of course, I am 35 years old and enjoy places like Cru.

I mean growing up in a suburb, and having friends that live around there, it is always fun for me. I can walk in to almsot any bar in and around there, and I see someone I knew at A&M or in high school. That being said, I grew up in north Dallas/Plano, and I find Addison to be much more enjoyable. Way less crowded, drinks are more reasonable, and the crowd is less yuppie. It is whatever. Dallas is a fun city, you just gotta find your niche.
