He would have thrown for 600 yards. 309 is just not a typical AJM day, you guys. Throwing more efficiently than the Heisman Trophy winner is of no moment.

You don't get it. We would have controlled the ball on Offense and he wouldn't have been on the field that much in the 1st Qtr. I knew we were in trouble on Bama's 1st drive when he missed a wide open Receiver for a 1st down. This is after LSU had 40 Minutes Time of Possession against us the week before. Our Offense killed us in those two games, partly because of play calling trying to convince the opposition AJ wasn't hurt by throwing the ball too damned much. RUN THE BALL..which we did after that, and won out easily to win another Natty.
