I said USM the other day too... I posted stats to back up my assertion as well... and I was promptly flamed by a dozen MSU posters and even one fellow Rebel.

Southern Miss has been struggling since sweeping Mizzou they have lost to Bama, ULM, and 2 against Troy

Yeah...at the moment Central Arkansas looks more dangerous than Southern Miss.

Of the 3 games vs UCA, I think Sunday is the one we are most vulnerable for.

Central Arky will prob take one from us this weekend.
They beat us in a midweek game last year, and they look pretty solid this year.

It's a fairly decent chance that we drop one to the best team in Arkansas this weekend IMO...if we don't hit better than we did in the Sunday doubleheader against junkthrowers.
After that, I'm all-but-certain the LSU series won't sweep either way.
I'm pretty confident that we beat USM. We've got a decent pitcher(Pollorena) that always looks like Sandy Koufax against them -- and we always throw him too.
