Full ride and my parents rewarded me with some spending money so I didn't even need a job (tutor for extra dough though)

I don't even want to know. It makes me sick to my stomach to even think about it.
I'm going to either have to turn to a life of crime, or move to another country and just sell t-shirts on the beach.

Georga's HOPE is a good program. I always wish South Carolina had a program similar.
I don't think South Carolina's LIFE has increased the scholarship amount ever since they started it. As a result, it hasn't kept up with rising college costs, and it only covers a fraction of tuition and fees.

Thank God for HOPE. GA has one of the better scholarship setups in the SEC. I paid nothing for tuition and got a little $ for books also. Some states have lower capped amounts so the student still ends up footing some of the bill. Other states don't have HOPE or a HOPE equivalent at all. Sucks to be them.
