Grammatical errors aside....

I don't think this is as ridiculous a statement as some might think. When you ask people who the best player in college football will be next season, the vast majority say Clowney without hesitation.

Manziel has built up his fame by playing the celebrity. Clowney has relied on his talent alone.

Maybe in SC, but I'd definitely hesitate if I said that and I'm not sure if I would say that.

While he may be the best player, your statement is nowhere near true. Most people would say Manziel, since, you know, he won the Heisman and all.
