Because he's a very competent passing oriented coach with a great pedigree that's been successful at each stop he's been at in his collegiate career.
On top of that, the NFL has already considered him.
You realize I'm not talking about OC jobs, right? With the Rooney rule in place, he's an absolutely ideal candidate with Crennel & Lovie getting shitcanned. He's gonna impress when interviewed.
