9. Rocky Top: When opposing fans enter Neyland Stadium,"Rocky Top" becomes their worst nightmare. The Tennessee band plays the song over and over again until it can't stand it any longer. It has a great psychological effect on visiting teams, too.
Yep, pretty much

17. Mississippi State Cowbells: The Bulldogs have built a tradition of ringing cowbells during big games. It dates back an Egg Bowl matchup where a cow wearing a bell wandered onto the field. Mississippi State beat Ole Miss, and MSU fans have rung cowbells to commemorate that upset ever since that time.

To train an eagle to fly to a point in front of 87K people?
Yea, it is a lot easier to teach people to march.

We have a week long orientation where we learn what it takes to be a part of it. We have 30k+ students stand the entire game yelling. Until you understand it, and since Auburn looks to be set back a decade, you'll never understand what it is like in full effect for big time games. The 12th Man isn't simply the name for the student section(even though we have more students attend football games than you have in undergraduate and graduate school combined), it is the number one tradition in all of college football. DWI.

TAMU also happens to hold the record for # of students to attend a college football game (Nebraska 2010).
Come to a game at Kyle Field, and you'll see what we're talking about.

13. Rammer Jammer: When an Alabama victory is in the bag, the Crimson Tide band will signal the fans to begin the Rammer Jammer chant. It addresses the opposing team by name and informs them that Alabama just beat the hell out of them. It has been a favorite taunt for nearly a century.
Not exactly. The Rammer Jammer yellowhammer cheer is about 100 yrs old. However the current traditions of doing it only after winning a game is relatively new.

Welcome to every SEC school.
So, you feel because you have a larger student section, it is the best tradition in football? Sorry, going to need to do better than that.

You are right, I should take out Vandy and Uk. But tell me more about SEC student sections from your one season.

It is amazing how they don't know this. Going to the Ole Miss game, drinking with people in the student section, it was basically a rowdy drunk basketball game. It was horrible. A bunch of frat guys standing around, with the fat one that can't get females, obviously being the loudest and most obnoxious in a group of about 15 dudes. It was very stereotypical. I can't believe they have zero self awareness.

That video they linked gives me chills every time I watch it.

The 12th man is about more than the student section. It goes back to 1922 and has much more current history associated with it from the all walk on kick off coverage units to the current tradition of the walkon wearing #12 on special teams unit.

Have you been to a LSU, Bama, Auburn, UF, USC student section?

Ole Miss students--didn't stand the whole game
Bama students--didn't stand the whole game
Miss. St. students--didn't stand the whole game
Auburn (yes, Auburn) students--didn't stand the whole game.
Not saying y'all don't have spirited student sections, but what y'all don't understand is that the A&M 12th Man literally stands the entire game yelling whether the Ags are ahead or behind. The ONLY time the student body sits at a football game is if the opposing team's band is on the field at halftime (yeah, they stand for the band, too).

Bama students--didn't stand the whole game
In fact the entire lower section of fans stood the whole game
