No because the kid has already said Bama is his leader, he will likely visit for Jr day. He will soon see at least 2 maybe 3 OL from Bama taken in the 1st Rd of the NFL Draft and the RB that ran behind them be the 3rd RB in 4 yrs taken in the 1st rd under Saban. Bama has a LOT of positives to offer OL right now

None of them. The 2013 signing day just ended. We aren't even done with our '13 class yet. I will never follow recruits a year in advance. That's just too much.

I'm pretty excited about QB Rafe Peavey. 4* as of now, but really impressed the scouts at Elite. Could move up even higher.

"Alabama ..... the locks i know of...
David Cornwell"
Unless OU offers...... but fortunately for BAMA, they're going after fellow Sante Fe,Oklahoma QB Justice Hansen (who is way better than Cornwell and it's not close)
Cornwell played terrible competition last year and is probably the 3rd best QB in Oklahoma this year behind Coleman Key as well.
It'll be between Okie St., Auburn, BAMA, and Michigan for Cornwell

All Oklahoma will need once they get that hotshot best QB in Oklahoma is a defense then, the Sooners gonna get there with that way better QB I bet, maybe!

There is so much fail in this post.
Cornwell will be the top ranked QB in the country by next Signing Day.

LSU will likely keep Clapp and Bama will get Robinson
LSU gets both IMHO. Clapp is a 100% lock and the fact that Cam goes to West Monroe is a huge positive for LSU. That school and community is all LSU

TideSaint,
If Cornwell was better than Hansen he would be the one OU is going after. He likes OU and lives in Norman, OK. Cornwell, while big and strong, has accuracy issues and plays against terrible defenses.
Cornwell won't be the #1 QB in this class...and if he really was, then OU wouldn't have picked Hansen over him.

Top 5s at this stage really don't mean a whole lot. Lot of these kids haven't even taken a visit, yet.
The difference is, in this case, he has visited Bama. More than once.

Hansen is an OU legacy. His father played baseball there. Cornwell did not grow up in Oklahoma and has zero ties to their program.

Not only do I not agree with you in regards to who is better, neither do the recruiting sites. Here you go:
247 Pro-Style QB rankings
247 has Cornwell as the #61 player overall and Hansen at #129.
Rivals 2014 Top 250
Cornwell is ranked as the #63 player overall and Hansen is ranked #140.
In the Composite recruiting rankings Cornwell checks in at #53 overall and Hansen is #272.

They aren't "picking" Hansen over Cornwell. Have you ever heard the phase "A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush?" OU is going after Hansen because he grew up a huge fan and getting him will take minimal work.
Cornwell is a much better QB.
And just so you know I'm not talking out of my arse when it comes to QBs, let me link you to a page from over a year ago on the MEGATHREAD:
Hackenberg to #1 ranked QB (2/13/12 edition)

TideSaint,
I live in Oklahoma and i've seen both players in person and i've talked to many reliable sources who all claim the same thing...Hansen is the best QB in Oklahoma.
You say Cornwell is "much better" basing it all on early rankings by a website and highlight videos. Cornwell won't be #1 on Signing Day..he's moving up to the "big boy" league in OK this year...his numbers won't be the same. Guaranteed!
I have no dog in the fight...but you're wrong when you say he's the #1 QB in the class....he's not even Top 5

The fact that you claim Cornwell to be "much better" and post links this early from a recruiting site as your reasoning proves you don't know wtf you're talking about
Notice Hansen has better offers...including OU and TAMU (The school that beat you guys in your backyard) .Hansen is more accurate, more mobile, and a better playmaker, hence his comparisons to Johnny Football.
Considering OU has better QB's, i'm pretty confident our scouts are correct.

An offer from Alabama >>>>>>>>>>> an offer from OU and ATM.
We'll just have to see who's right next February. My analysis and prediction regarding Hackenberg made a bunch of southwest SEC fans look like idiots when they questioned them last year.
I'm betting it happens again.

Reliable sources? Like scouts who ranked high school prospects for a living? Or are you claiming "insider status?"

I base it off of what I see. Many people on this site can tell you how highly I thought of Hackenberg when everyone had him behind Max Browne. He ended up the #7 player overall.

You sound like you have a major dog in the fight. But you seem to be the only person on the planet, other than Justice Hansen and his family, that thinks he's the better QB. Oh, my bad. I forgot you had "reliable sources."

Oh. That's where this is stemming from. You are a butthurt OU fan. I thought you were a fan of a MS school.
It's cool, dude. I get it. You don't want to give credit to the guy that isn't coming to your school while propping up the legacy that is likely to commit.
That's a shitty position to take when comparing players though. You really need to remove the bias when looking at a kids talent.
Good luck in the Holiday Bowl next year!
