Who redshirts and who doesn't?

Figure some combo of Mauk/Franklin/Berkstresser...Do they roster a 4th? I could see both Printz and Hosick redshirting frankly.

Gill, Rhodes and Abeln? Only if there's major injuries again. Otherwise they redshirt.

Moore? We're deep at WR so I see him redshirting.

Reese? Culkin back. Reese redshirts.

Abbington? Again, pretty deep at RB with Josey back. Josey/Murphy/Hansbrough/Steward/White. So he redshirts.

Thompson is Juco. DL is thin so I see both Augusta and Logan getting a chance. Crawford and Harris redshirt and likely Loud as well.

Singleton plays obviously. Rupert redshirts. Sherrils and Penton may vie to play but I don't see it unless there's injuries again.

Unless I missed some names, we're actually kind of thin at LB. I can see Beisel or Burkett competing for some time at LB.

Doesn't look like we are too thin at LB. If you just shift last years 2 deep up replacing seniors that left, we have Darvin Ruise, Donovan Bonner, and Andrew Wilson starting with Kentrell Brothers backing up Wilson.

So we currently have 3 good LB's fighting for the 2 spots left in the 2 deep, Donavin Newsome, Michael Scherer, and Torey Boozer.

Should be 7 LBs deep to start the season, barring injury of course, I don't think any freshmen LBs see the field.

Abbington and Logan are the only ones with a shot. I'd guess they all redshirt.

I think they will let them compete, but unless they feel like depth is an issue the OL guys will redshirt. The DL guys? That'll probably be a different story.

After last year's performance there should be an opening at every position for these Freshman to play !!
