I was saying the exact same thing to my brother while watching the game. It looked like he had no clue how to get off the block. He showed flashes when they switched him to the other side. Heck, maybe that guy blocking him is The truth and his stock goes up lol.

Prolly cuz they thought big bro would get to pass to him one day. There is a pattern of players who transfer when they dont see PT. Watch it play out.

QBs have the highest transfer rate of any position, I believe.

Turman may not last either. Had a few RBs and QBs in the past not gotten booted from the program, we would have seen more transfers.

You can hardly blame the coach if CLM doesn't have the chops to win the starting gig, though. I'm not sure what we were doing recruiting a dual-threat QB anyway. There hasn't been a legit scramble QB at UGA since Shockley. Just doesn't fit our scheme.

So you're saying they put a far less talented DE to go against that OLineman so Carter can get a better shot on the other side.....They pancaked him to. Lose Lose situation.

Gilbert Johnson just had a wide open TD grab on ESPNU. I feel like he is an unknown recruit of the class, but he's looked pretty good so far.

No im just saying that he wasnt getting nothing done on one side and they tried to get him going on the other side. They guy they switched out wasnt getting nothing done anyways. Either way eithe carter is overrated or the offensive lineman he was going against is a beast

Crispy,

How bad are the road blocks getting out of Columbia after the game? Safest route to I-20...

Road blocks aren't terrible but they turn every road into one way headed out of the stadium and there is a HEAVY police presence there, so you'll need to tighten up if you're inebriated.

Getting back to I-20 won't be easy off the bat. It all depends on where you're parked as to the best route to take. If you're by the farmer's market/bluff rd then it's almost best to take Bluff away from the stadium then I-77 S to I-26 W to I-20. If you're at Seawell's/Jaco's, then go through Olympia to Huger St and take Huger out to I-26. Fairgrounds? Either Olympia or Assembly out to I-26. It really is a crap shoot.

Yeah, it's really not a bad deal at all. You park downtown at Colonial Life Arena and the buses drop you off at the fairgrounds; the buses move faster than most because they have dedicated roads just for shuttle use and police escorts. You do have to walk across the fairgrounds, but it isn't a bad walk at all.
