Meltdowns, rival prognostications, etc:

quote:

@JoshatTheState RCord. Steve Spurrier Jr. on new rules: "We have to think about what Bama is doing. They will absolutely press the envelop rgdless of cost."

Bumped from another board thanks to our illustrious administrative genius, Fleshy, to set the stage:

quote:

Today reminds me of Christmas 1992.
: History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field. This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years. I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it. When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and CGC will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It. I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that CGC will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true. The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.
-
WarEagleJM on Auburn's 247 board from thread entitled "Times they are a changing".

Most knew that hiring a clown from a mediocre Big East school would not improve our program, unfortunately this fricktard was not one of them. What an absolute clown Butch Jones is. Hopefully Hart will be gone by the 2015 coaching search. -volfan30

quote:

All I wanted was a Sega Genesis or a Super Nintendo. I wrote letters to Santa. Begged my parents. Did extra chores, etc. There were hints and rumors that all my patience would finally pay off. And the Christmas morning comes, and what do I get? frickING CLOTHES. All the other kids in the neighborhood got a Sega or an SNES. Auburn, Ole Miss, UGA, the New kid A&M. The rich kids Bama, UF, LSU. Even the wierd foreign kid that nobody liked, Vanderbilt, got what they wanted. But not the kid who's parents drank too much and ran up credit card debt, UT. We got frickING SOCKS. I know I should be grateful We received anything. But frick Christmas and frick today. - Vols&shaft83

@reubenfoster_FG u got to be the stupidest person I know. Who u gonna hide behind when big boy football begins this summer.Ur daughter???

JT Shankles ?@jtshankles
I bet Reuben Foster ends up in a shootout. Sorta glad he isn't at AU. Cuckoo-bird. Weird D Liner isn't at AU with his jail time, good fit.

JT Shankles ?@jtshankles
@AUSandyTiger Reuben, burn in hell u uneducated bastard. I hope he gets butt raped down there cause of the tat.

I am still deciding if I should be sick on Wednesday. This thread may help me save a sick day. It is not like I will be getting any work done either way.

You can add Paige to the questionable commit list. His grades are an issue and if we take Vanderdoes and Reed then that means to me that Paige isn't making it.

Great start Bella. I'm going to be useless at work on Wednesday.
Which will be about the same as any other day I'm at work.

Thanks for doing this, Bella! Glad to see my fellow ladies representing.
Usually I spent National signing day with one of my fellow Bama fans, my niece. We start early with Mimosas and spend the day w ESPN and 2 laptops. She can't come to me this year b/c she now has a child in school and I can't go to her b/c of recent surfer
Guess I will drink those mimosas by myself
