Is Freeze really THAT much better of a recruiter than Orgeron and Nutt?

He is much more of an active recruiter than Nutt was, especially Nutt's last 2 years. Freeze uses Orgeron's system but is a much more likable person.

When Orgeron was here he said if there was one person that was a better recruiter than him on staff it would be Freeze.

Possibly, but this year's class is also an example of the stars aligning just right. Who knew signing Anthony Standifer and Denzel Nkemdiche at the time would pay off so much down the line? And to that, a huge turn around on the field from 2-10 to 7-6, ending with emphatic wins, is easy to sell as progress.
