I stand corrected; he served under Stoops. Let's see what happens without the Texas Tech connection. The true test will come if and when you guys get those great years when you get to travel to Bama, Auburn, and Florida etc all in the same year. Time will tell.

Post more. So much fail with the phantom Art Briles connection and now this.

1. A&M set a Cotton Bowl record for total offense without 'The Texas Tech connection.' Five years ago, Sumlin hired Kliff Kingsbury away from the riches of the Canadian Football League by offering him a wicked sweet $20,000 per year salary as a quality control assistant. To imply that Kingsbury was the major reason for A&M's success is as hilarious as it is entirely inaccurate.

2. When Kevin Sumlin first took the head coaching position at Houston, the first offensive coordinator he chose was some guy named Dana Holgorsen. But yea, Sumlin won't be able to replace our coaches who have moved on.
