Guy said Swinney pleaded with Arians not to run that play and could not find DuBose anywhere --- remember,he didn't wear a headset in '97.Dabo finally gave up and called it to Kitchens.

I was there, and for UK it was a great game. Hadn't beating Bama in 75 years at that time as I recall. Of course, they don't play that often, but still a big deal.
Fans tore down the goal posts. I was kind of sad about that because Bama had a losing season that year as I recall. Such is the life of a UK fan.
