How many does CNS have available at this point?

I'm pretty sure CNS is the only one that knows for sure. We don't know who isn't returning and if any of the recruits will fail to qualify academically. I've learned to just accept the numbers because it always works out.

Early on Saban said you don't have to balance the checkbook until August and that's true. A lot can happen between signing day and the start of Fall camp. I am confident the balance in August will equal 85 or less.

Looks like Harrison Jones may be one of the 1st to move on, following his back injury, according to a poster on BOL.

This is from an update right after the team arrived in Miami...
quote:
Saban announced that one player did not make the trip due to a medical issue that came up after the team returned to practice Tuesday. Sophomore tight end Harrison Jones is dealing with a back issue, but should rejoin the Crimson Tide on Thursday or Friday.

I don't get the impression that this is career ending

Right... a poster on BOL said he just found out today that we would be losing 2 Jones boys. He said a good source told him that the Jones family doesnt want Harrison returning to the field due to the injury. Again, TIFWIW, just passing along whats being said...
