Don't go into Engineer college if you're an out of state student unless your states AP classes transfer. Mine didn't and I learned quick that I'd be better off transferring. I had a terrible adviser who signed me up for Algebra based Physics which weren't required for my degree, Calculus based Physics were. To make it worse the instructor was in his late 80s and never spoke over a whisper. Then his grad assistant was german and could barely speak english. I never felt so lost in my life and that was my first semester.

The only people who should be allowed to advise incoming freshmen are seniors. Seriously. I am pretty sure those people frick over everyone.

I have actually had a great adviser in the college of Ag. Very straight forward and tells me exactly what I need to know.
Small side note, the last time I went to see her was on Nov 1 at 8. This was the night after the Halloween shot party. I was still pretty drunk and had to help her run a squirrel out of the building that snuck in somehow. :auburnproblems:

meh, at my HS if you score in a certain range on SAT-8 tests you get put into AP courses (if you choose to) they only offered them for Several Math courses, Chemistry, Biology, and Senior English.
If you were to stay with an instate school the Highest Math, if you took Cal 2 would translate into the first Calculus course you'd take at ASU. Would work same way with English, but not sure about the science courses.
After my first semester I transferred into Business and did my own advising as well. Was smooth sailing afterward.

That's what we call intro to music. That's what was confusing me. I have just never heard it called "listening." Everyone at Auburn has to have a 3 hour fine art. I took intro to theater. Was easy as hell, but had to go to several plays. One was Cabaret, and it was the first time I had ever seen two guys kiss. It was a far more shocking sight than I would have ever expected.

Just a drive by cuz I don't want to be a rude guest at my friend's house, but, at the risk of being obnoxious:
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just feels so good after watching Aggie football my whole life to see A&M shake some of these old demons and shut up the haters. Been a LONG time coming. Bear with me, y'all

I had a gay guy that lived in the dorm adjacent to mine. Always left his door open when he had 'friends' over.

There was a gay guy on our hall but I never saw anything and never really thought about it.

I mean it's not like I got up and walked out or anything. It just took me by complete surprise. It was like seeing a dog that talks or someone walking down the sidewalk on their hands. Just a WTF did I see moment.
And what's up T-Bird? Looks like you guys might be set for the next couple years.
