If so:

Pretty good feat given the 3rd party ticket and associated travel costs.

I went to the Sugar Bowl in 08, Pasadena in 09, and New Orleans in 11, but I can't make it this year. Tide pride changed the point totals needed to get tickets and my dad came up just short.

My last bowl was the Capital One.

I had a student ticket for pasadena and a tide pride ticket last year. Paid face value for both.

Bringing the entire redneck crew down to stay until Tuesday afternoon. Probably 25 deep. We are attending a rugby or soccer game down there on Monday Night (I can't remember which one)

We are all a bunch of redneck and douchebags and poor as frick.

The cool thing about this trip is that my invisible sister is coming with us so if I can't hook up at a club, I can always bring her back to the Motel 6 for extracurricular activities (if you know what I mean

Do any of the 7-11's in Miami carry Skoal dip? I am freaked out that we might not be able to find Skoal or Red Man Chew down there in the 305.

Serious Question.... What are the chances that we might "bump" into or maybe "rub elbows" with a rapper called Pitbull??????????????????????? Good or no?????? That would make this trip fricking epic!

thanks.

Went to first two and will be on my way to the third in 4 Saturday morning.

It's worth the dough, NCs aren't that easy to come by (well at least it used to seem that way and will seem that way again, sometime after Saban leaves)

Went to NOLA and Pasadena but can't make the trip this year. I would be there but just paid for a trio to Disney World in early December!

I did the tix reservation for Pasadena in '09 and NOLA in '11. I didn't this year because I honestly didn't expect us to make it but lucked out when a buddy from FtL offered me a ticket (he gets them because he has Dolphins season tickets)

I am.

I'm in Tide Pride, but not enough points, so every year I bid on a reserve option to buy a ticket. So in 2009, 11, and 12, I spent around 60-70 bucks for the option, plus regular ticket price.

the only time I got burned was in 2008, I lost $100 when Bama lost to Florida in the SECCG.

I can't remember why, but I didn't buy an option in 2010, thank goodness.

Went to the Sugar Bowl for the Utah game.

Went to Pasadena 01/10, NOLA 01/12 and going to Miami.
I do the reservation thing as soon as it comes out.
Make reservations for flight and hotels on points by Feb or March.

Has worked good so far.
I had extra tickets to sell this year and last you. Last year made a lot, this year enough to cover all the tickets.
Using points enable me to do it right.

Pasadena via Tide Pride, New Orleans via the lottery thing, Miami via cash. Flying out Saturday morning.

This ain't gonna last forever. Im along for the ride as long as Bama is fortunate enough to keep this roll going.

This guy.

My wife owns a ticket company and I coach football/baseball so it makes it pretty easy for us to get there.

No doubt we are spoiled though.

Yep. Was in Pasadena, N'awlins and headed to Miami via Orlando with the fam. Seen tons of football fans down in Orlando- obviously Ga, Bama, ND, Nebraska but interestingly lots of Auburn shirts. Even more interesting tons of A&M shirts. Couldn't remember who A&M was playing so while standing in line for a ride yesterday there was a pod ( family of four all wearing matching Aggie shirts) standing behind me so I asked them who A&M was playing in their bowl. The mom responded that she didn't know- she just lived there. Huh? Sadly the dad also was wearing a Bama hat along with his Aggie shirt. Guess they were all confused.

I don't know about you guys, but this is how I'd rank my favorite bowl venues that I've seen Alabama play in

1. Independence Bowl
2. Rose Bowl
3. Superdome
4. Cap One
5. Cotton Bowl

Of course...without a doubt...the best bowl game I have ever been to was the 2001 GMAC Bowl
