If Chip Kelly goes to the NFL, Gus woulda been the ideal coach at Oregon and that team is loaded up with his kind of players in a conference thats ideal for it.

Considering he's never left the southeast in his coaching career, he's coaching at the school where he's had the most success, and the SEC > Pac 12, he's probably happy

I'd say he's found his destination job and is grateful for it and will do his best work here. Or at least it won't be for lack of trying.

Oregon wouldn't hire Malzahn. He doesn't have the recruiting connections to succeed there. Auburn and Arkansas are the two best cfb jobs for Malzahn. Also, he may ultimately suck as a HC on the top level.
