I'm glad OM is improving... It puts tremendously more pressure on our staff to get it done both in recruiting and on the field.
Let's not forget that State has already had 1 staff member be encouraged to look around -- and there is rumored to be 2 more spots coming open. I look for us to try to make tremendous recruiter hires in those spots.
The golden days of the Golden Egg rivalry are very nearly here. All that needs to happen now is for it to be Freeze vs Hudspeth -- 2 guys that have been huge overachievers in relatively short careers, are tremendous recruiters, and see Miss schools as their dream jobs.

This might make it competitive again.

Feels good to be so hated.

How so?
We have 4 different 4* guys on defense coming off redshirts -- along with a couple of very good 3*s.
Both QBs are very good to excellent.
All 4 RBs are very good. You make a huge mistake in judgement sleeping on the 2 guys that will be RS Sophs.

You guys say this shite every year and it's always the same result

That is a tough schedule. Looks like MS State will need a break here and there to go bowling. And to think Mullen was on an upswing. I guess he isn't as hot as he was before the egg bowl. How could he have gotten so cold so fast?

Yeah, you're right man. Dixon and Ballard were terrible.

Ballard
Dixon
Norwood
Griffith
Johnson
McKinley
McCrary
Bouie
It's only been 23 years since the last time MSU didn't have an NFL-drafted starting running back. We have 3 on roster right now and would probably have 4 if Griffin could stay healthy.
But yeah, thanks for the concern.

I think we all saw how good state was this year when they were dominated by every single SEC team with a winning record. Yet, somehow State fans expect no drop-off next year with a more difficult schedule and the loss of your best players on Defense. (A Defense that was absolutely shredded by the good teams you played) Newsflash this years Egg bowl was no fluke. To add to that, Freeze is out-recruiting Mullen big time. Ole Miss is being looked at by some of the top players in the nation while State is struggling to split the in-state talent. You think you are going to compete with us in the future when Ole Miss/ Oxford can out-do anything your redneck school and shite hole town can offer. (Your go-to bar is lamer than Oxford's worst bar). I can not wait to bathe in Bundy's tears for years to come while Coonass seeks consolation in his girlfriend's monster clit. Boom Roasted.
I picture Boomhauer from the show King of the Hill saying that

Yep- and that result is that our starting RB's end up in the NFL

Mullen has taken to State to its 3rd consecutive bowl game for only the 2nd time in school history- meaning he has the program as good or better than its ever been.
How has he gotten cold?

Losing 4 of your last 5 games and getting beat down by your in state rival isn't exactly "heating it up."
8 wins and a Gator Bowl appearance looks good on paper but it's deceiving.
