What was the most underrated game of the 2012 SEC football season?

When I say underrated, I mean a game that didn't seem like it would be significant at the time, but turned out to have huge implications for conference positioning and national title hopes.
A good example might be the 2007 Georgia/Tennessee game; if Georgia wins this game then they're playing an injured, on-the-ropes LSU team in the 2007 SECCG as a 1-loss team, and almost assured a national title berth if they win. Going into the season, that game looked like it might have been important, but no one would have predicted it would be the difference for Georgia's title hopes that year.
The game I'm thinking of this year is Texas A&M/Florida. If A&M wins that game, then they're playing Georgia for a national title appearance, Florida is out of the BCS and Alabama is probably in the Sugar Bowl. At the time, the game looked like it might be interesting, but Florida was nowhere near being considered a BCS or title contender in early September, and Texas A&M wasn't seen as a program that could step in and win the West and possibly the conference and BCS championship.

OM - LSU was a fantastic game that probably flies under the radar.

I'm gonna go with Florida/Georgia.
That one game was huge for the East.

LSU @ Auburn winning by a safety against one of the worst teams in SEC history! Had Lesticles dropped that game he would have been escorted to Fayetteville.

I agree but the game had no impact on anything as the team that was supposed to win did.
Per the criteria in the OP, that is...

Same can be said for SC / UF. If UF wins we'd be playing 'Bama for a national title spot.

Guessing you meant "if SC wins" there. And yeah, it definitely could be, but I lean more toward UF/A&M here. By mid-October we knew Florida was challenging (if not the favorite) for the East, and that SC was in the hunt. In early September no one knew A&M would be playing UGA for a title bid if they'd beaten UF, or that UF needed to win that game to secure a berth to the Sugar Bowl

I say Texas A&M vs Ole Miss. If Ole Miss holds on to that lead they probably end up in the Music City Bowl, Manziel probably doesnt win the Heisman. Many A&M fans have said it was somewhat of a turning point in the season.
