1) Florida
2) Missouri
3) Kentucky
4) Tennessee
5) Ole Miss (though they've played nobody and lost to Middle Tenn, so they could actually suck)
6) Alabama
7) Arkansas (no good wins, but several competitive losses to good to great teams. They also beat OU who beat us by double digits yesterday).
8/9) LSU/Texas A&M
10) South Carolina
11) Auburn
12) Vanderbilt
13) Mississippi State
14) Georgia

Top 3 are our only sure fire NCAA bids. Tenn will probably get in. Bama is a bubble team that's probably on the NIT side. Ole Miss could get in, but their non-con is gawd awful - best OOC game is Rutgers. And no Rutgers isn't any good - so they'll need to win a lot of games in conference to get in.

I left the bottom 5 in the same order the OP had them in, but there are so many inexcusable losses scattered among them that it's hard to come up with any proper ranking. My feeling is that Mississippi St. is the king, though. Got blown out by a Texas team that lost to Chaminade and that's shooting .400 as a team. Lost by nearly 30 to a good, but not great, Marquette team. Lost to a very bad Troy team. Lost by double digits to the Providence Friars (whoever the frick they are haha). Yea, that's a bad, bad basketball team. Sorry grinders.

2 Final Fours
4 Elite Eights
16 NCAA trips between 64' and 04'
Play in the Big East

Rick Pitino coached there
John Thompson played there
Billy Donovan played there

About 40 NBA drafted former players

They hired Ed Cooley in 2011 after Keno Davis failed to keep up the Friars previous history. Man I am all for calling folks out when they pad the stats but to say you never heard of Providence shows more ignorance on your part than the party you were calling out. When Texas A&M gets to the Elite Eight or Final Four then you can call out a school who has.

At least the Texas A&M women have gotten there and props to them.
