At the age of 51, for my health, I've reduced my drinking bouts to once every 2 or 3 weeks.
I think they are good for my morale, but I feel shitty the next day.
However, I decided not to give up drinking completely, even if it is bad for my health.
Who the HELL wants to be a 90 year old man?
It's ok to die...everybody does eventually.
There are some things worse than death. Like a colonoscopy. I can't believe some people subject themselves to that. I will never have that procedure done. I honestly think suffering that indignity is worse than death.
